Meet Alejandra Rueda – Founder and Senior Sustainability & Strategy Advisor
Alejandra Rueda brings over 25 years of experience leading sustainable transformation across the private sector. As the founder of NES Naturaleza and NES Consulting International, she has guided national and international companies in crafting and implementing corporate strategies that place sustainability at the heart of operations.
Her work focuses on aligning business practices with global standards through supply chain transformation, private sector engagement, and stakeholder collaboration. Alejandra’s leadership has supported companies in embedding sustainable values, enabling them to access competitive markets and meet regulatory and client demands.
She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Latin American Stakeholder Committee for the International Sustainable Carbon Certification (ISCC). Alejandra is also a recognized international speaker on key sustainability frameworks and responsible business practices.
A Rotary International World Peace Fellow, Alejandra holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Natural Resources and a certificate in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds specializations in Marketing Management, Finance, and Economics—bringing a multidisciplinary and results-driven perspective to every project.
